Description: ***********The Felsa 4007N automatic movement runs about 2 minutes slow by the end of its approximate 37 hour power reserve period with the roulette date wheel rolling over perfectly as it should. Given that the movement runs a bit slow and considering its unknown service history a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended.*********** This seldom seen vintage 1960's Paul Rivage Wakmann Skindiver has under the heavily damaged/scratched crystal a glossy black "FRANCE" only signed dial that appears to be in lovely condition. The lume, which remains fully intact and emits a faint, short-lived glow on only the dial after being exposed to bright light, has aged gracefully. The black countdown bezel, which shows wear and rotates bidirectionally with an appropriate amount of tension, presents nicely with the butterscotch lume pip complementing the dial and patina beautifully. The all stainless steel case shows honest wear with minor signs of oxidation. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "ALL STAINLESS STEEL ANTIMAGNETIC" with "100%" followed by "WATERPROOF TESTED,""20 ATMOSPHERES" and "47803" stamped in the center. The inside of the case back is stamped "WAKMANN WATCH CO" and "FRANCE." The crystal needs to be replaced. The 17 jewels unadjusted France "WAKMANN WATCH CO INC" stamped Felsa 4007N with semi-quickset date function runs strong, albeit slow, and the roulette (even black, odd red) rolls over at 12 am. The semi-quickset date function works flawlessly by manually rolling over a new date and then moving the hour hand repeatedly between the 21 and 24 hour marks until the desired date has been reached. After recently winding the non-screwdown crown 39 full revolutions the movement lost about 2 minutes by the end of its approximate 37 hour power reserve period. The crown winds smoothly. Given that the movement runs a bit slow and considering its unknown service history a complete overhaul is likely long overdue and recommended.This watch measures approximately 37 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40.5 mm including the crown and approximately 19 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the bezel, is approximately 9.5 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 11 mm.
