Description: Vintage 1960's Fisher Price circus with wheeled wagon,11 figures, yellow plastic ladder and character support circle, 5 ladders, 2 attachments for ladders, one wooden dowel rod, 3 round wooden platforms, and one rectangular blue platform for animals or ladders. There are duplicate elephants and bears, but there is no horse or dog figure. The wagon has 2 hinged doors that raise and lower as onramps for the circus characters and animals - and a removable top - with description of contents of the set on the inside of the top. It appears there are a few different parts on the picture on the inside of the cage lid - with an extra ladder and the three extra wooden performance platforms, but missing one ladder connector, a trapeze, and 3 dowel rods, a tub and a ball. The wood figures are hinged on plastic legs and easily positioned on the ladder and rails of the blue rectangle or on any flat surface.The set is strong and attractive, but there is wear on several areas of paint as shown - and some of the paper onlays are worn as I have tried to show. I show both sides of the animals and cage in photos above.This set is meant for display - or use by only older children, as lead paint was widely used in toys before 1978. I would NOT recommend this for play by a toddler.
