Vintage 1953 Women's Bulova 10K White Gold Filled Cuff Bracelet Watch

This listing is for a stunning, vintage women's Art Deco Bulova 10k white gold filled, manual winding, cuff bracelet dress watch. The back of the watch has the date code L3 with corresponds with the manufacturing date of 1953. The watch has a two piece, white gold filled hinged cuff band. The band is in good functioning order, with both hinges working. One of the hinges has more range of motion than the other, so the band opens unevenly (see photos), but closes just fine, so it makes no difference wearing the watch. The inside of the band, by the opening is marked 1/10th 10K gold filled. The stamp is a tad worn and hard to see but it's there. The watch has a lovely Art Deco design. The dial is beige in color and shows a little discoloration, which I kind of think gives the watch character, but that's me. The crystal is domes shaped and appears to be free or nearly free of scuff or scratches. The outer gold shell is in good condition and still thick. The only place I see wear is on the bottom outer edges of The watch's lugs. The watch seems to be running well. It winds easily and ticks continuously, however, I haven't tested it's time keeping accuracy. The watch has a tad of glue residue in the crevice around the crystal which has darkened with age and needs cleaning away, but it is very very tiny, and only visible under magnification. I don't know when this watch was last serviced, so I recommend this be done soon after purchase if the new owner intends to wear it daily. The watch is running at the time of writing this listing, and I am happy to share video proof of this with interested buyers. I know nothing of this watch's history and can make no guarantees about its future functioning. You are buying the watch AS IS. After purchase, I will check the watch again to see that it still works before I ship it. If it has stopped working, I will contact the new owner so he or she has the option of canceling the sale. However, once the watch has left my possession at the post office, the sale is final with no returns. This is such a great piece for collections and so unique!
