Description: This is a lot of two (2) vintage unused William Steig blank cards printed by Bernard of Yonkers, NY. The first is "Public opinion no longer worries me" # 1309 and the second is "I have my own troubles" #1317. Steig was a cartoonist and illustrator, and in later life became best known for writing and illustrating the children's book Shrek! among others. In the 1950s a series of his cartoons were used for calendars and greeting cards. Cards measure 4-5/8" x 6-1/8". There is some yellowing from age on cards and envelopes.
