Description: Vintage 1950s Plakie Toys Jump-Up Baby Crib/Cradle Gym, Nursery Decor (Pigs) Plakie Toy Company was started in the early 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, and manufactured these types of baby toys from 1945 until 1975. We're unsure of the exact year of this cradle gym, but estimate that it was made in the 1950’s or possibly the late 1940’s. It is plastic and features 2 pigs, along with various bells, disks and hoops. SAFETY NOTE: This vintage crib toy is roughly 70 years old, and for safety, is being sold as a decoration or display piece ONLY. The bar measures roughly 12” wide and, from the top of the pigs to the bottom of the hanging toys, is approx. 8” tall. When the cord with the blue bead is pulled, then the pigs move upward. This vintage baby crib toy would make a fun addition to a toy collection or nursery decor.
