Description: For sale is a vintage 1950s Emerson model 559 red plastic portable AM band tube type radio. Knobs and tubes are correct. Knobs turn as they should as does the dial indicator. No rust, odors or mice nests. One minor chip to the back cover top middle. The power cord is very flexible and usable. When plugged in, the radio came on and only one station could be barely heard. The station cannot be heard on the video. See and hear the video. Speaker looks great. Some damage to the grille from the power cord being pressed against it for an extended period of time. There is a chip to the plastic chassis guide but does not affect the chassis being installed securely. The bottom back cover hinges are fine and working. The top clips, one is fine and working but the other one needs the plastic protrusion(?) glued back to the cover. It is there being held by the metal clips.
