Description: Up for sale is vintage grape brooch made of Lucite beads and green rhinestones set into the grapes. The stem and enameled leaves are gold plated. This fantastic piece is featured in a book called "Inside the Jewelry Box" by Anne Pitman. The book lists the brooch as being made in Austria during the 1950s and marketed as "Forbidden Fruit". Wonderful condition with no missing stones. When I purchased the brooch the owner told her Mother wore it on her suit jacket when she was married in the 1950’s.
