Description: Featured is an Art Deco Billy DeVorss pin-up print from the 1940s. The untitled print shows a fully made-up redheaded beauty reclining gracefully in a yellow gown and white fur. Billy DeVorss (1908-1985) was an informally trained American painter of pin-up girls. He is known for using daring blends of colors, flowing, graceful lines and his large Art Deco-inspired signature. This print was originally created to have a calendar attached below the print. The print is 12" x 14.75" in overall size, 9" x 12" in image size, and is in excellent condition. Chuck Olson CollectionChuck Olson spent over 40 years collecting and traveling the United States in search of unique vintage prints. He was especially interested in prints that were printed for use on calendars in the "Age of the Calendar" from 1900-1960. Chuck amassed a collection of well over 10,000 framed and unframed prints before his death. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the item.
