Description: 1930s vintage instrument. Probably made by Regal or a similar maker in USA. Very well made professional grade instrument. With 12 tension hooks providing excellent tone and box resonator, attached by screw. Restored and set up ready to play with new strings and skin. Original tuners work very well and instrument plays in tune up the neck. 7 inch pot, 8.5 inch fretboard, lightweight and comfortable to hold neck with 1 & 1/4 inch {30mm} at the nut. Ideal for playing old time medleys and George Formby favourites. All original parts, a very rare model, first Bluebird I have seen in 20 years. Plays very well and has a crisp clear tone, as to be found on other USA instruments such as Gibsons and Slingerlands. Finished in vintage Art Deco light blue colour. I have kept the patina and signs of wear to the finish and overall the instrument is finished in hard wearing oil finish to preserve the original colour.
