Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1930s 25" Composition and Stuffed Cloth Boy Baby Doll with Tin Sleep Eyes and Upper and Lower Teeth Big, chubby, baby doll - 25" long, cloth body, composition flange head with molded painted strawberry blonde baby hair, lower tie-on composition arms and legs, with a stuffed cloth torso, inserted crier, working blue tin lithographed, sleep eyes, thick, brush lashes, open mouth with two upper and two lower teeth. Painted upper lashes, multi-stroke eyebrows, lip paint and cheek blush. Jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. She has been somewhat restored: cleaned, one crack repaired, one toe chip. She has her original facial features. Dressed in a boy baby one piece, terry cloth romper with a baseball emblem on the chest. He also has a long, embroidered dress and slip that came with him - in case you prefer a girl. CONDITION:Good, lightly restored Condition. Composition is free of cracks, chips, crazing or flaking paint. Hair has one repaired area. Working, clear sleep eyes with full brush lashes. Full, fingers and toes with one toe chip repair. Cloth body has very light age staining/darkening without any rips. Crier in the back - makes a small sound if you pat his/her back. Costume is replaced and in good condition.
