Description: Vintage 1920's Unbranded Parlor acoustic guitar - Lyon and Healy Chicago Description 1920's - 1930 era Parlor guitar No name or serial numbers, but after owning a few dozen of these it's my opinion it's most likely a Chicago made product (Lyon & Healey, oscar Schmidt, etc) Mahogany back, sides, and neck. Fretboard is likely stained black. Solid spruce top. Body measures 13.5 at lower bout, 9.75 at upper bout, body depth is 4 inches. Slotted headstock neck I would say is a hard V, nut width is 1.75, and the scale is 24.75. Overall the body is in good condition for it's age. There's a few chips in the binding, part of the interior center seam has been replaced, the back center seem is raised / protruding. It's not going anywhere, but should be noted (see pics). Otherwise the guitar has some normal scratches, and dings typical of a 100 year old instrument. Original finish is in tact, Brazilian rosewood bridge, original reverse gear tuning machines. Straight neck, bracing is solid, etc. Guitar has had a neck set and a new bone nut. Frets look to be original showing some ware as there's some fingerboard groves in the first position. Plays good, nice warm sound. Comes with chip case or gig bag for shipping purposes Click images to enlarge Images sell!
