Description: Vintage figural metal table lighter and cigarette box in the shape of a 1912 Cadillac, made in Japan in the 1950's. All original. This large antique auto is meticulously detailed in a spelter metal with a golden bronze finish. The top of the car comes off revealing a 3.5" by 2" space inside for cigarettes. The lighter is in back and easily lifts out of its cradle for refueling - right now it's empty - and its bottom is marked "JAPAN". The underside of the car is embossed "CADILLAC - 1912" and off to the side it's embossed "JAPAN" with the winged globe logo which I think identifies this as Occupied Japan.The Cadillac model measures approx. 3.75" tall by 8 1/2" across by 3.75" wide, and weighs 2.75 lbs.A terrific old figural smoking set for your tobaccoana or Cadillac collection.
