Description: Offered for Sale is My Great-Grandmother's 1880's GEORGE WASHBURN NEW MODEL STYLE 101 3/4 Size Parlor Guitar. My Great- Grandfather gave it to her as an Engagement Gift. They were married in 1897 in La Junto, CO. The Neck Block Stamp Reads 67732. I believe it is Brazilian Rosewood with possibly a Spruce Top, It is approximately 12 1/2" at the Widest Point and Length is 36 1/2" from Top to Bottom. It is all Original with No Repairs and Alterations. There is a crack on the face below the below the bridge and small ding/crack on the base as well as superficial dings & scratches that are not terribly noticible but they add to the already enormous vintage appeal of this guitar! The Sound is Beatiful and Full. It is in Remarkable Condition for it's Age (Over 135 Years Old).
