The coins were crudely struck as they did not have fancy press machines in the late 1700’s so the shape and cemetery of thickness are not even and the print on the front and back is not uniform. This coin comes in a black faux leather hinged hard rectangle case with a glass window and a snap down closing clasp in which the coin sits inside a black velvet cushion. The 500 Rouble come in a top loading clear plastic sleeve. In this lot as this was originally purchased as a lot it come with two information sheet, one on the kopek and the history and one on the history of the 500 Rouble and Catherine the great; these can be framed and displayed with the coin and the one to display with you 500 Rouble if you choose to display them.This was purchased from a reputable Canadian Coin dealer who has all their coins authenticated before reselling them as this was purchased for my personal collection.
