Vintage 15” Madame Alexander Elise Doll

Description: Up for your consideration is a vintage, 1950’s Madame Alexander Elise doll. First thing to mention is I am not a collector. This doll is coming from my mom’s estate, so what I share with you in the description is by sight, not knowledge of ownership. To start, this little lady will need some love. She is a strung doll, and will need to be restrung. Her hair is glued on, and it is in good condition. Her sleep eyes do open and close freely, however, they are yellowed so I can’t tell you what color they are supposed to be. On one hand, her finger has been repaired as shown in photos. She has flexible feet that are in good working order. There are body scuffs that you would expect to find on a used vintage doll. There was a tag that my mom had placed with the dress, saying it was original. However, I don’t believe it to be so. I think it may be homemade? I’ll let you decide that. I just noticed that there is a little crack in one of her legs. I upload that photo after I finish this description. I think with some talc, she could be made right and beautiful again. Doll and dress will need a general cleaning. Please zoom in on the photos to see all you will get in this lot and a better idea of condition.
