Description: Vintage 14k White Gold European Diamond Ruby 3 Stone Band Ring .78 CTW Sz 6.5 Click images to enlarge Description Offered here is a lovely antique 14k white gold natural diamond and ruby 3-stone band ring. The ring has two "issues" which are: it could use a rhodium dip to restore it to its polished white gold finish--and the diamond has a small chip on one edge (not the top) which I've tried to show in the last photo, right beneath the prong. You need a loupe to see it--it does not affect the appearance of the ring on your hand. THIS RING IS SOLD "AS IS" WITH THESE ISSUES MENTIONED AND PHOTOGRAPHED. Okay now to its attributes! The diamond in the center is an Old European measuring 4.65 x 2.75 mm deep (about .38 ct calculated). It is fiery and white, graded as H/I color and SI1 clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler. The rubies on each side are about .20 ct each, bringing total weight to about .78 ctw. The stones are set in slight "illusion" heads with a rim of white gold surrounding them, making them look a bit larger than they actually are. The face measures 5/8" across by 1/4" north to south. It is hallmarked 14k with maker's mark MPK or MFK, and weighs 3.5 grams. This ring is a size 6.5 and can be sized by any competent jeweler.
