Description: A great vintage color postcard titled St. Peter's Dome, C.C. Short Line, Colo. Colo. St. Peter's Dome is a granite-topped peak on Pikes Peak massif in the Pike National Forest. The St, Peter's Dome mining district, also called the Cheyenne District, has been operational since 1910. In the early 20th century, trains stopped at the St. Peter's Dome for the trip between Cripple Creek and Colorado Springs. The card measurements are 3 1/2" x 5 1/2", and the card has not been postmarked. The card is in very good condition with no folds or creases. Excellent color and design. Slight corner wear.
