Village Blacksmith Gritt Motion Lamp Forge Anvil Chalkware Vintage 1920s

Description: I have up for sale a wonderful antique / vintage original circa 1920s or so Gritt Inc - Indianapolis , IN Chalkware VILLAGE BLACKSMITH motion lamp - complete with original angle cut shade , spinner , reflector , etc. The lamp weighs approx 6 lbs and is made of chalkware . It stands roughly 12" tall to the top of the glass shade and roughly 7" across , roughly the same in depth. There are a few livable imperfections as shown in the pics - nothing significant at all . View each and every pic to help assess. The lamp is pictured on page 130 of the Samulelian - Collector's Guide to Motion Lamps book. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED -CONTACT ME ASAP - KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM. YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING ,PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE.
