Description: The listing is for a Victorian silver plate / quadruple plate butter dish Manufactured by Simpson Hall & Miller. The presentation butter dish, manufactured during the latter part of the 1800's features pierced handles. The pierced legs, trimmed with a floral design are supported by a pierced spandrel design under the base of the butter dish. The repousse cover of the butter dish is topped with a cherub overlooking birds and flora. Condition: The butter dish is in good condition as shown in the pictures. The insert fits properly and the cover fits onto the base. There are no monograms or dents and the silver plate is shiny and bright. Size: The teapot stands 9.5 inches tall to the top of the cover and measures 8 inches wide at the widest point. Shipping: We gladly combine shipping whenever possible.
