Description: This listing is for a Victorian era child's tea set recently purchased from a local South Jersey estate sale. It is made of white porcelain with a transferware decoration featuring children, pets and nannies at play. There are 00 pieces: one teapot, one creamer, 6 plates, 5 saucers and 5 teacups. There are depictions of children swinging, tea times, ring around the rosie, children play stick and ball, toy soldiers, dogs and puppies, a dog stealing a straw hat and much more. A lot of the pieces are marked with a brown marker stamp and says "Germany" on the bottoms. The teapot measures 5 1/4" tall. The creamer is 2 1/2". The plates are 5 3/8" across. The saucers are 4" across. The teacups are 2" tall. Condition: The transferware is worn on a lot of the pieces. One plate is broken and repaired.
