Description: Victoria Crosses of the Anglo-Boer war by South African author Ian Uys. Soft Back book but hardback size ( 8 1/4" x 6" =21cm x 15cm). 1st edition & copyright 2000. 127 pages. Autographed in South Africa in 2005 by the author on title page. Like new but has some light, minor scuffs on cover & slight storage marks otherwise MINT. The book has never been read and has just been sitting in my bookshelf for years. Book is covered in a makeshift, clear plastic cover, which is easily removable. BOOK details ±75 VC recipients during the two Boer Wars in South Africa. 1881 and 1899-1902. The author gives the reipient’s background, transcript of original citation and additional information about the particular battle and/or what the man did after he received his VC (if he survived.)
