Description: The Beatles Abbey Road No 'Majesty' 1st PRESS 143g! (PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED) Fantastic 1969 Beatles UK LP. This was the Beatles' 12th LP, released on the 26th September. It was also the last official Beatles release that was recorded by them. Staying at number one for almost 18 consecutive weeks, it was only knocked off by The Rolling Stones' "Let It Bleed." Lovely vinyl, only a few very light marks to her, which are superficial and barely heard on playback....When playing her all the way through, I noticed a wonderfull deep and rich audio reproduction free from sticks and any skips too. I didn’t even notice any significant background noise AT ALL! The harmonies on Oh! Darling were sooo clear, I noticed a lot more depth in that song :) SUPERB Rich deep audio with clear high peaks and deep, moody, low bass-GORGEOUS! Labels: VG. There are only a couple of light spindle marks-evident only when angling towards the light. With minimal central hole wear as can be seen in the detailed images provided. But, as you can see in the images provided: There is some writing to both sides, with side 2 having ‘Oct 1st 1969’ which must be the day this record was bought….ONLY 5 days after 1st release! Without these names the labels would easily grade as EXCELLENT. NO "Sold in the UK..." text. Outer text begins: "Apple Records all rights.." "Mfd. in U.K." text. The labels are nice and vibrant. This is the 1st pressing DARKER version of this Apple label. The last song credit DOES NOT HAVE "Her Majesty" on the Side 2 label. Cover: VG+. The cover of this LP remains lovely and strong-free from splits, tears or writing. The alignment of the Apple Logo on the back is inline with the text. The spine is lovely, clear and strong. Just a handful of small crescents of spidering to the front laminate....As well as three longer lines around the outline of where the record has been housed for the last 55 years! Really nothing bad at all.. Remains wonderfully bright and glossy and would frame very well indeed. Only gentle rubbing to the corners. The strange fact about this copy is the factory defect-where the laminate hasn't quite reached the edges, to the top and opening of the back...Quite unusual. FRAME THIS BEAUTY! Inner: EX. Original and white die-cut sleeve. Also has the "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" text to the bottom too. NO splits or writing. Only light creasing and some spots of ageing-don't we all?!
