Adapter is used for interfacing between the main ALDL cable and a Tech-1 OBD-II Vehicle Interface Module 3000091, which is not included but is eBay item # 176072973960 The photos show what it looks like but just to point it out, the screws have developed a little rust over the years and there is sharpie on it that says NY.
