Dill, ManagerJohn Robinson's Circus had a highly successful 69 year run through four generations of Robinsons. The run began in 1842 and ended in 1911. The show was dormant between 1912 - 1915. In 1916, the show was sold off - and again in 1929 by the Ringling's, who operated it until 1938. There are currently very few original items available for sale - even for the tail end of the show's existence. Showing only minor signs of age and handling consistent with it's age. Tiny pin hole 1" below "C" in the word "Circus". Small top right corner crease. Tiny bottom right corner edge loss. No tears, other fold creases, stains or loss. The detailed art and color choices made on this piece are eye-catching. Will display well in your collection. A fine example and an excellent framing candidate.
