It is dark brown salt-glazed pottery with nice turn markings. The top edge shows chips from a long life of hard work. The body has glaze drips and what look like scorch marks from a gas stove or fire. The salt glaze has a nice slightly metallic or iridescent sheen. I see no cracks or other signs of structural issues. It looks good and primitive! 7" tall x 6 1/8" diameter. Old, primitive and interesting... like me. And hopefully you too! Ready to be enjoyed!
