Description: DeArmond 1950s Rhythm Chief Model 1000 Floating Guitar Pickup Condition Light wear: The logo color has worn off. The metal parts have some patina. The felt is mostly gone. Light damage: The Control Box is missing the back plate and is slightly bent by the jack. Description This is a nicely preserved and complete 1950s DeArmond Rhythm Chief pickup rig with clear knobs, the mini-Amphenol connector and the original mounting hardware. All the chrome plating is fairly clean. The cable is original but the mini-Amphenol connector has been replaced as it was damaged. The control box is missing the bottom plate and felt and the alternate switch has been replaced. After the minor repairs to the cable and switch it functions well and sounds amazing!
