Description: Here we are offering this exceptional Hudson River School painting measuring 10" by 18" with the overall frame size measuring 20-1/2" by 28-1/2" This painting is from an affluent upstate NY estate that was full of very fine antique objects this being one of them. I showed this painting to a friend of mine who is very familiar with this area and they told me it was most likely somewhere above Lake George because of the river being close to the high mountains. The painting is meticulously done with sheep and a line figure walking down the path. The painting is in its original gilt frame and is in untouched condition.
