Both blade and wood handle have minimal scratches, and marks, from normal use. Knife looks like it has not been used much. Wood handle has no chips, or cracks. Knife is tight, no loose parts. Knife is 2 brass pins, 1/2 tang, hardwood handle. You do not see to many of these types of knives they are fairly "Rare". Vernco 2.25" Paring, Pit Removal knife is in very good used condition.
