New York. § Limited edition presidential memoir – one of only 300 printed. § Signed by LBJ on flyleaf. § Numbered: 39 out of 300. § Further inscribed on dedication page to Robert “Bob” Hardesty, one of LBJ’s speechwriters, and who was an aide to the President from 1965 to shortly before his death in 1973. Hardesty also helped LBJ write these memoirs, which Johnson acknowledges in his inscription. § Mr. Hardesty later served as president of Texas State University, and passed away in 2013. § Bound in red faux leather boards, which are cracked at edge of spine. From my research, this is very typical of this limited edition printing. § Comes in a custom-made slipcase, which is quarter-bound in leather, with a raised spine and gilded lettering. § The book fits into a protective rigid, clothbound sleeve, which then slides into the slipcase, further protecting the evidently brittle cover. § Free shipping via Media Mail. § Thanks for looking!
