In all of his works his signature is notably and carefully embedded. With this particular hand painted plate you can see his signature is not visible. The Shoemaker is busily a set of wooden shoes outside his farm home. Beautiful scenic landscape with windmill is shown in the background. How quaint this plate is hand painted in Holland during the 1980's. The stamp on the back indicates BV. Holland ". Excellent condition no crack or chips. There is a circular shape sticker on the back with a small hook. Ready to hang on your wall or place in a plate stand. Please review all photographs.
