Description: Lucille Smith and Hedy Duval costume made for the 1956 film "The Vagabond King". There are two Paramount Labels inside with their names written on it. I researched Lucille Smith and what I found out was she was a soprano who appeared in films and on stage. Hedy Duval was an extra. The image I'm showing is for reference and most likely is Lucille Smith signing at the begining of the film. The sheet music covers the top of the costume but the 3rd and 4th women have skirts with the color matching the costume. I assume Hedy is in a crowd scene toward the end of the film. It is made of taffeta with a velvet trim. It has a has a hook and eye closures on the back. There are tears in the sleeves and the velvet shows dirt. Overall, I rate this costume in fair condition. I grade my costumes as follows: Mint, Near Mint, Excellent, Good, Fair and Poor I do combine multiple purchases with a flat rate shipping cost.
