These shoulder boards are old new stock and were never issued or used and can be used if needed. These shoulder boards would be worn by a Lieutenant General in the Soviet Army on the white shirt would date from 1975 to 1991. It is rare to find Soviet Union shoulder boards of any armed forces, rank or type and they will become harder to find in the future as collectors grab them up.
