THE CERTIFICATE MEASURES ABOUT 20 INCHES WIDE BY 15 INCHES HIGH. I TRIED TO TAKE SEVERAL PHOTOS SHOWING SOME OF THE GREAT DETAIL AND INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE CERTIFICATE. ONE OF THE COOLEST ITEMS IS THE SHIP'S POSITION. IT SAYS IT IS BOUND FOR "ANTI-JAP OPERATIONS" THE SAILOR IS NAMED Warren Soper McHenry. AND IS DATED JULY 26, 1944. CONDITION: THE COLORS ARE STILL NICE. LOOKS OLD AND ORIGINAL AND HAS SOME BUMPS AND SCUFFS AND SCRATCHES FROM BEING MOVED AROUND AND STORED FOR MANY YEARS. I had looked up this ship on google and it looks like she had just been commissioned and makes this a little more special. I had served four years in the Navy myself but never went over the equator. I served from 1967 until 1970 on the USS Valley Forge LPH-8 and was part of the decommissioning crew.
