Description: Up for sale is an original USGI LOADING GATE / DOOR for a US Springfield 30.40 Krag Rifle. This part is in really nice shape and is fully functional as designed. It does show signs of wear, use and storage for being over 100 years old. It has a nice original finish. Not a lot of original USGI parts left around for the Krag rifles. If you are looking to upgrade your current parts or like to restore these old war horses then get them while you can or risk being outbid by someone who wants it more.
