Description: nited States WW2 blue M1 combat helmet. The Navy M1 helmet is a front seam swivel bale helmet with stitched on straps. It has a nice Navy blue-grey cork-infused paint that is really in nice overall condition. The helmet liner is marked with the Firestone logo on the interior and marked 44. No sweatband or neck strap left in liner, however, does has liner chinstrap. Helmet is supposedly from the USS Tolman destroyer and also came in with group of papers and photos included with the helmet. Worn condition. Additional Notes: The USS Tolman (DD-740/DM-28/MMD-28) was a Robert H. Smith-class Destroyer Minelayer in the United States Navy.
