Description: United States Scott Catalog # 1213 George Washington 5 cent plate block mint and never hinged. This stamp was issued from 1961 to 1966.The error on this plate block is more of an oddity, the upper righthand stamp has a small bump on the stamp. The bump cannot be removed, I think what happened is that perforation holes were left on the stamp and was adhered to the stamp as the sheet went through the printing press. You will notice on the gum side of the stamp that the extra paper was pressed through the stamp making a small hole in the stamp.
