Cover 1908 Includes 1 Mills Orndorff 100 Rd Cartridge belt - buckle is NOT included see photos for dimensions It will adjust out to at least 48 inches or more. It is in reasonable shape for its age - has patent numbers from 1867 to 1897 - see photos - used from Span Am Wars - Mexico Border Wars into WW1 and sometimes much thereafter Has some rust and stains some tatters couple of the panels on the cartridge holders have stitching that needs repair - This is a double stack type - *** cartridges in the photos are ONLY used to show how the double stack is made - empty cartridges ARE NOT included in the auction - used for demonstration / display only. 1 - M1907 Dated 1908 Rock Island Arsenal R.I.A. 1908 T handle shovel cover - super solid condition - has KRAG type latch fastener - has some rust or staining leather is in very good supple condition also stamped R.I.A. 1908 on the end of the leather strap. Also has T.C. Inspector stamp ( Thomas Carroll ) on the end of the leather strap - see photos. Very hard to find item in this condition. Has unit markings for US Army 2nd Infantry Division Company A - This a very early model shovel cover. Used from US Mexico Border Wars well into WW1 and post war. Rare 1 unknown Jungle type Machete - Well rusted - broken handle - long long ago someone replaced with what appears to be a piece of a leather belt - this is NOT a thin or cheap made machete - it still has quite an edge and is heavier than it looks i estimate it could do some damage clearing trail. quite a neat item - estimate this to be pre 1900's.
