Description: This is a very unusual old vintage French gold gilt metal filigree jewelry dresser box from a very pristine clean estate. The footed hinged box is 6 1/4" by 4 1/2" by 2 1/4" and features a glass tray on top with gold gilt filigree border mounts. This works great for displaying perfume bottles. The sides features a floral embossed band and fancy filigree work. The box has three working hinges and inside is its original velvet lining. A tiny pin from the side is slightly poking into the velvet. One of the back hinges may of been repaired at one point in time. See photo. I never noticed this till now. The box is in fine working order. It does have a sweet light perfume odor. You should love it. Thanks for looking.
