Description: NEW OLD STOCK - VINTAGE - NEVER USED Vintage Scotch 3M Splicing Tape No. 41 7/32 in x 66FT Roll Magnetic Tape Scotch Brand No. 41 Splicing tape was used for making tight, noise -free splices in audio recording tapes. It was designed to create strong, ;lasing splices that wouldn't get gummy or stick over time. This tape was particularly useful for ensuring high quality recordings by minimizing noise and maintaining the integrity of the tape. This was a special adhesive tape used for splicing magnetic recording tapes. Provenance: This was owned by my mother. It has been safely packed up since the 1970's and unfortunately forgotten until my parents recently moved and was found again. Dimensions: 7/32 in x 66 FT 1 roll Condition: New old stock which was never used. The tape is pristine. The box has some storage wear as seen in the photos but is intact and looks very good. See detailed photos. I am not sure of the quality of the adhesive at this point as it is so old and so am selling this as a collectors piece rather than a functional splicing tape.
