Wanda was a faithful wife to Kenneth Phillips, a loving mother to Randy and Karen Phillips and a warm embrace to her daughter-in-law, Denise. She delighted in her grandchildren, Garland, Spencer and Lily Pearl. Her most recent joy was becoming a great-grandmother to Griff. Wanda gave her heart to the Promiseland congregation where she served as the consummate Pastor’s wife for over 50 year ————————— Ruby Cunningham McKellar Obituary Funeral services celebrating the life of Ruby Cunningham McKellar will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Pentecostals of Alexandria with Bishop Anthony Mangun and Pastor Gentry Mangun officiating. Burial will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, Woodworth under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria. The family requests that visitation be observed at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Pallbearers will be Terry Halford, H. “Jr.” Mills, Luke White, Frank White, Benny White, Phillip McKellar, Carl A. McKellar, Jr. and John Tudor. Honorary pallbearers will be Garrett Hodges, William “Bill” Stamper, Michael Wiley, Glynn Chevallier, Mason Smith Miller, Zane DuBois, Tracy Stanley, Stephen Wagner and Doug Reiland. Mrs. McKellar, 83, of Alexandria, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. McKellar was strong in her faith and was an active and devoted member of The Pentecostals of Alexandria. She was always willing and eager to help her husband of 62 years with his endeavors. During her working career, she was the owner of a Child Daycare Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
