ART NOUVEAU STERLING SILVER HAND MIRROR EVANGELINE RARE & DESIRABLENOTE: SHIPPING CHARGES INCLUDE INSURANCE Unger Bros.’ ultimate Art Nouveau maiden pattern featuring the hauntingly beautiful Evangeline done in high repousse. She’s absolutely stunning and the UB workmanship is incomparable. Warm wonderful patina. Full UB markings. The brush is in overall very fine antique condition and presents wonderfully. CONDITION: (FRONT - TOP) The entire front top of the brush is in “minty” condition. There are no dings, dents, push-ins or scratches to the entire top portion, including the protruding high spots such as Evangeline’s nose and chin. You normally see the 3-D areas flattened or dinged but she’s perfect. The handle portion has a very shallow indent / flattening (image 2) which is barely worth mentioning. There is no monogram and no removals. BACK OF HANDLE Excellent condition. If I’m being super picky, there is the teensiest tiniest ding which refuses to be photographed (you can’t see it in image 13). SIDES Near mint with only 2 small dings (images 8/9) on one side. BRISTLES All plugs are present. The celluloid covering for the wood base has some chipping at the top area. I consider this to be in above average to excellent antique condition but I have included many images so you can assess the condition for yourself.
