Description: ULTRA RARE Original Milton Bradley Words and Sentences Game, 1860s FREE SHIPPINGThis is an extremely rare original copy of what I believe to be one of the first games produced by Milton Bradley after he established his board game company in the 1860s. An early precursor to Scrabble. Original wood box is in excellent condition, as are the complete set of 292 cardboard letter tiles (there is another set on eBay currently with only 284 tiles). Box measures approximately 4.5" x 5.5" x 1.5". Paper label on cover shows minor edge wear (see photos). Individual tiles are approximately 3/4" square. "Pool" printed on label on underside of top cover. I suspect this was intended to be used as a tray from which players could pick tiles from the "pool." Back of bottom has what looks to be a signature, perhaps of the game's original owner. A great piece of game history. FREE SHIPPING in the U.S. Feel free to ask questions or request additional photos.
