This large, 9 x 6 ft., Shag is from the "Tufted Wallcraft" Collection by Regal Rugs. This rug is an eye dazzling, floor or wall art textile in a bright yellow, white and green geometric pattern. There is a leather embossed label on the backside with the designer's name, the name of the work(faded and hard to read, something "Tura") and a (name) personalization. A 1970 New York Times article about the collection is included in photos. Measures Approx: 9'.25" L x 6'.25" W Condition: Rug is beautiful, very clean and very good overall with some minor age related yellowing, very minor deterioration of the rubber backing. Estate piece that has been carefully stored in a smoke-free/pet free environment, but could benefit from professional cleaning after decades of storage. Recommend using with a rug pad.
