Description: This is the famous "onion" motif from Taylor Ironstone. They produced the atomic onion motif in several different colors so please be sure this is the one you are after! This is the "Cannes" pattern, featuring the "onions" looping around the outside of the plate. It is a dark version with the center of the plate being a mustardy yellow and the pattern around the edge with less contrast. There is some variation in shading between the plates so you can let me know details of your existing plate sets so I can send you the ones which will match the best. This is for a set of two of the 6 3/4" bread plate. They are both in good condition--no cracks or chips, no obvious utensil marks. They have mold marks on the underside--areas where the color is missing under the glaze that were where the pieces were supported in the kiln. No backstamps. I have some other pieces in this pattern I will be listing so reach out if you don't see them online or if you want to bundle. I also have some Honey Gold, the lighter, brighter version with the atomic onion.
