Description: Here is a pair of small cloth-lined metal jewelry boxes. The fancier one that has the floral /rose motif all over it is lined with red velvet and is footed. It is marked on the bottom of the base ‘Japan’. The other one that is not footed also has a red lining that kind of feels like silk, but may or may not be. I can find no markings on that one to point to its origin, but I feel that it is probably also made in Japan. These two little boxes are both in fine condition, are vintage, probably somewhere between the 40s to the 60s. They would be just perfect to put your favorite rings, or brooches inside them or fancy necklace with a diamond pendant, etc..
