Description: VINTAGE SOVIET TEAGLASS HOLDERS- THIS AUCTION INCLUDES 2 TEA GLASS HOLDERS FAMOUS PIECE OF HISTORY REPRESENTED ON THIS BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF CUP HOLDERSFIRST SOVIET SATELLITE These Tea Glass Cup Holders were made in the "Settlement Mstera" in the Vyaznikovsky district of the Vladimir region of Soviet Union, circa 1960. I believe they are composed of an alloy of metals (copper and nickel giving it a silver look). I polished one so the design would be easier to see. It's up to the new owner to do the second. My scale shows a weight of 10.2 ounces. It is stamped with a Russian trademark:“1ЮММЕТ ц2р59к”. Condition is quite good for it's age. I do not have the glasses that go with.
