Product Description: This offering is for two packages (four rolls) of rim strips for 700c road bike wheels (which should be enough to do four wheels). We like the fact that these rim strips are made from a nylon cloth material that appears to hold up better then some of the rubber strips we have used over the years. However, these strips do not have an adhesive backing, as do some of the more well known (and more expensive) brands...and we would be the first to admit the adhesive backing is a nice feature that facilitates installation. Although, we should also point out these rim strips are connected to form a complete loop that slides over a rim's edge and seats fairly well in place. I don't know if the latter feature is enough to offset the lack of an adhesive backing, but it does help with installation. One last note...the retail price on the packaging (for what it is worth) is $4.95, so we are selling them for half their intended retail price with a reasonable shipping charge. Unfortunately, this service is more expensive, especially for smaller/lighter packages, relative to the First Class International service. We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs' laws to declare each order as a retail sale.
