Description: Hello! You are looking at a listing for a worn, used condition hardcover copy of TWENTY YEARS OF HUS'LING by J.P. Johnston published in 1900. This antique hardcover book is in acceptable shape and measures approximately 8x6x2 inches. The binding is cracked and the book is missing page 478-479. Page 480 is loose. The rest of the pages are present and in decent condition, but are somewhat frail. There is foxing and moderate wear. The binding is cracked & loose but the book remains together. The cover & edges have moderate wear, and is missing the title on the title edge. The subtitle of the book is, "Portraying the Peculiar Incidents, Comical Situations, Failures and Successes of a Man Who Tried Almost Every Kind of Business and Finally Wins." This is an interesting and historical example of what is known as the 'protestant work ethic' or hustle culture in early 1900s America. Please see photos for details. Thank you very much for looking. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like to see some more pictures. This book will be packed with the utmost care to prevent damage. It will be shipped Ground so as to insure it. Please check out my other listings for more rare books. Thank you for looking and have a blessed day!
