Description: A labor intensive, wood and matchstick frame that would be a great addition to your folk-art collection. A frame has been pieced together, literally with matchsticks. It has a wood base and wood faced corners. There is a wood finial at the top that pulls up so you can put in a picture. The colors of the wood and matchsticks are a nice warm brown. The base has an old green worn felt. There are no marks or labels. There is currently a photo of a pine in the frame but you can of course change it. MEASUREMENTS 7 ¾ in (19.7 cm) wide x 2 5/8 in (6.7 cm) deep x 8 in (20.3 cm) tall. Weighs 12.3 oz (350 g) CONDITION There is one matchstick missing on the side. There are no breaks, chips, cracks, or repairs. The wood has a nice old warm patina from age. The felt on the bottom is worn. A great folk-art piece to actually use and admire.
