Toshiba Portege 7140CT with docking station and power supply

Description: Toshiba Portege 7140CT laptop with docking station and power supply for sale and your consideration. Used condition but good condition. Screen has one dead pixel but has no scratches as shown on the photos. Body appears to be free of cracks. All keyboard and mouse keys work. Body has some light scratches due to normal computer use over the years. Battery does not hold its charge. Laptop boots fine with Windows XP. I tried to upgrade RAM memory by installing higher capacity modules with the machine accepting and addressing them in BIOS, but then being unable to boot into Windows XP operating system giving boot error. When I installed the module that came with this laptop, it boots fine. I was not able to figure out what might be the reason for such a problem. Below are the specifications: CPU: Intel Pentium III 500 MHz.RAM: 96 MBOS: Windows XP Service Pack 3 version 2002 with updates installed.HDD: 30 GBDrives: floppy drive and DVD/CD drive in the docking station. The laptop unit itself has no drives. All devices work with all their Windows XP drivers with the exception of one unidentified device that has no driver. I was unable to figure what this device is specifically.
